Before I created Heavens To Betsy Cakery, I spent countless hours scrolling through free tutorials, buying expensive materials, and trying to figure it all out by myself. The results were hit or miss, my confidence wavered, and honestly? It wasn’t fun anymore.
I wanted to make fake bakes that looked amazing — the kind that spark joy, turn heads, and have people asking, “Wait… is that real?” But I was missing something: the right guidance, the right tools, and the right community.
That’s when everything changed. I stopped piecing it together alone and started building something better — a creative space where you can learn to craft realistic-looking fake food without the stress. Now, through the Cakery Classroom membership, I share everything I’ve learned with step-by-step tutorials, supply tips, and a growing library of tutorials filled with ideas to keep your creativity flowing all year long.
Ready to mix things up even more? I also offer themed Workshops, Craft-alongs, and Events with Kits throughout the year, where we gather virtually to create detailed projects together — perfect for holiday and seasonal decorating or leveling up your skills.
I’ve always been passionate about food — and designing realistic-looking decor inspired by it has been the perfect way to blend my creative side with my foodie roots. The phrase “Heavens to Betsy!” is an old-fashioned exclamation of surprise, and trust me… you’ll be shocked in the best way when you see how real these faux foods look!
And if you’re a business or brand looking for eye-catching decor, I also offer custom commercial orders for corporate gifting, brand activations, photo shoots, and trade shows. My fake bakes don’t just decorate homes — they help businesses stand out, too.

COMMUNITY. I offer a private group for connection, sharing, learning, and collaborating with others to share our passion for creating fake food and decor that looks real.
AFFORDABILITY. I offer two affordable payment plans. I don’t want money to be a factor and hold you back from being creative. I want my membership to easily fit into budgets so you can focus on creating and having fun.
INNOVATIVE. I love trying new things! I seek out and experiment with different products, mediums, etc., and then use them to create something new or something that others haven’t thought about doing so that they feel they are getting great value from me sharing my knowledge. Creating one-of-a-kind items that set me apart from others makes my heart super happy.
AUTHENTICITY. I’m transparent. I don’t sugar-coat anything, which plays a big role in creating realistic-looking fake food because I work hard to develop techniques to achieve a realistic look. I want my finished products to not only look real but also have a high-quality look to them. I don’t want my products to look or feel cheap.
